The Center for Research in Education (CIE-Ispa), accredited by FCT, is oriented towards the study, analysis and intervention in different dimensions of educational processes and contexts, seeking the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge that contributes to the promotion of the quality of educational processes that respond to the diversity of populations and contexts.
The teaching and learning processes in their affective and cognitive dimensions, the school-family relationships, the learning environments that enhance greater quality and effectiveness in school and social inclusion are some of the areas that have been privileged.
